Management Accountant - (Temporary: 5 weeks approx.) - Dublin 18
We are seeking a highly capable Management Accountant on a Temporary basis to support the finance function during a period of increased workload and transition. The successful candidate will take ownership of monthly reporting cycles, provide insightful financial analysis, and ensure robust financial controls are consistently maintained.
Key Information:
Accounts Package is Sage
You will need to be strong on accounts production and margin analysis
Preference for candidate to be on site 3 days a week
Pay Rate: €29.00 - €30.70 per hour + holiday pay accrual
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts to tight deadlines
- Produce variance analysis with clear commentary for senior stakeholders
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, updating models as required
- Assist with month-end close including journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Analyse financial performance trends, costs, and margins
- Provide data-driven insights to help leadership make informed decisions
- Support ad-hoc analysis relating to business performance or cost optimisation
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and procedures
- Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor queries
- Support continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting tools
- Work closely with operational teams to understand drivers behind performance
- Provide clear and timely financial information to non-finance stakeholders
