TERMINAL OPERATOR
(24 hour/7 day a week operation)
Reed Recruitment is searching for a Terminal Operator at the Dublin Joint Fuels Terminal, the Terminal is located in Dublin Port.
The Dublin Joint Fuels Terminal is a fuel storage facility, utilising a Marine Import System, above ground Storage Tanks and a Truck Loading Facility to manage the safe receipt and distribution of refined petroleum product. The Terminal operates on a 24/7 basis, and the 10 person Terminal Staff Team operate a 24/7 Shift Pattern.
The Terminal Operator’s duties will include:
- Shipping Supervision, overseeing the offload of petroleum tankers
- Tank Storage Management
- Truck Loading Supervision
- Reviewing Risk Assessments and Methods Statement
- Developing and Issuing Work Permits to Maintenance Contractors
- Inventory management
- Maintenance Tasks
- Alarm Management and Response
Qualifications in any of the following areas would be advantageous to the applicant:
Any trade qualification
Health and Safety qualification
Marine Vessel Offloading experience
Experience in Bulk Petroleum Storage
Project Management
