These roles involve providing high‑quality advice, support, and representation to members on a wide range of employment‑related issues. Successful applicants will work within a collaborative environment, contributing to key organisational objectives and ensuring members receive exceptional service.
✨ What You’ll Do
As an Official, you will:
- Advise and support members across a broad spectrum of legal and industrial relations matters.
- Represent members in employment‑related cases and at various forums.
- Manage queries, case files, and projects from initiation to completion.
- Contribute to the development of policies, services, and organisational objectives.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to deliver high‑quality support.
- Present at seminars, meetings, and training sessions when required.
✨ What We’re Looking For
You will bring:
- A relevant third‑level qualification and at least 5 years’ professional experience.
- Strong understanding of current educational, legal, and industrial relations issues.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Outstanding drafting, editing, and written communication ability.
- Strong organisational and time‑management capability with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- A proactive, “can‑do” attitude and the ability to take initiative.
- Proven capacity to work effectively within a team.
- Project‑management experience from concept to completion.
- Proficient IT and research skills.
- Flexibility to work outside normal hours when required.
- A commitment to delivering a high‑quality service to members.
- A full clean driving licence and access to a car for work purposes (travel & subsistence in line with public‑service rates).
📍 Work Environment
- Primary place of work: Head Office (Dublin city centre).
- Hybrid/remote working available in line with organisational policy.
