Profile
We are seeking a Legal Secretary for our Healthcare Litigation department. You will be part of one of Ireland's unique law firms which offers challenging and rewarding work in a progressive environment. To be successful in this role you must have prior experience in a similar role, along with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. This role will work along side the Managing Partners P.A.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparation and organisation of legal documents
- Formatting briefs, letters, and various legal documents
- Corresponding with clients.
- Transcribing dictation
- Diary management
- Analysing, researching, and summarising legal information
- Filing, invoicing & general administrative support
- Other ad hoc activities as required.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years Legal secretarial experience for a busy office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Digital Typing (75/80 WPM)
- Ability to work on own initiative and to meet deadlines.
- Preparation of legal briefs, both soft and hard copy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Case management (Practice Evolve is used by the firm) system would be a distinct advantage.
- Billing experience would be an advantage
- Medical Terminology will give you a cutting edge advantage
- Poses a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Motivated, with the ability to manage a high workload, multitasking and prioritising tasks
