Profile
We are seeking a Legal Secretary for our Healthcare Litigation department. You will be part of one of Ireland's unique law firms which offers challenging and rewarding work in a progressive environment. To be successful in this role you must have prior experience in a similar role, along with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. This role will work along side the Managing Partners P.A.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and organisation of legal documents
  • Formatting briefs, letters, and various legal documents
  • Corresponding with clients.
  • Transcribing dictation
  • Diary management
  • Analysing, researching, and summarising legal information
  • Filing, invoicing & general administrative support
  • Other ad hoc activities as required.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3 years Legal secretarial experience for a busy office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Digital Typing (75/80 WPM)
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to meet deadlines.
  • Preparation of legal briefs, both soft and hard copy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Case management (Practice Evolve is used by the firm) system would be a distinct advantage.
  •  Billing experience would be an advantage
  • Medical Terminology will give you a cutting edge advantage
  • Poses a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Motivated, with the ability to manage a high workload, multitasking and prioritising tasks
