Job Summary
The Warehouse Administrator & Logistics Supervisor is responsible for managing administrative functions within warehouse operations. This includes inventory tracking, order processing, data management, and coordinating logistics and shipments. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective collaboration across multiple departments to ensure efficient workflow and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management:
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records. Ensure stock levels are up to date and report any discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.
- Order Processing:
Take full responsibility for processing customer orders, including preparing shipping documentation and labels, tracking shipments, and overseeing order fulfilment.
- Data Entry & Systems Management:
Accurately input and update data in the warehouse management system, ensuring data integrity at all times.
- Shipping & Receiving:
Support the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments. Ensure timely deliveries, proper documentation, and that all goods are received in good condition.
- Stock Audits & Cycle Counts:
Assist in organizing and conducting regular stock audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Documentation & Reporting:
Generate reports on inventory, order status, and warehouse performance. Maintain organized records of all relevant documentation.
- Coordination & Communication:
Serve as a key point of contact between warehouse staff, customer service, and other departments to ensure smooth communication and operations.
- Compliance & Safety:
Support adherence to company policies and safety regulations related to the handling and storage of goods.
- Operational Support:
Provide administrative support to the Warehouse Manager, including scheduling, reporting, and assisting with ad hoc projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in warehouse administration or a similar role.
- Proven experience with logistics, shipping, and warehouse processes. • Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
