Truck Driver
Location: Birr, Co. Offaly
Salary: €40,000 + per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday – Standard Business Hours
About the Role
We are a well‑established and busy construction company based in Birr, Co. Offaly, and we are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Tipper Truck Driver to join our team. This is a full‑time, permanent position offering consistent hours, local routes, and a supportive working environment—ideal for someone looking for stability and work‑life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate tipper trucks safely for the transportation of aggregates, soil, and construction materials
- Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate driving and delivery logs
- Ensure loads are secure and delivered on time to construction sites
- Comply with all relevant health, safety, and road transport regulations
- Communicate clearly with site managers and dispatch teams
Requirements
- Full, clean C licence (EC licence an advantage but not essential)
- Valid CPC and digital tachograph card
- Previous tipper truck driving experience preferred
- Good knowledge of Offaly and surrounding counties
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork
