Site Engineer – Dublin (Full-Time)
An established Irish main contractor is seeking a proactive Site Engineer to join its expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high‑quality commercial, industrial, and educational projects nationwide, alongside an experienced and supportive project team.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying all site works
- Ensuring materials and works meet specifications and quality standards
- Interpreting drawings, maintaining accurate records, and managing RFIs/submittals
- Supporting site management with daily coordination, staff oversight, and technical administration
- Monitoring health & safety compliance
- Managing technical information flow and requisitioning materials/plant
- Maintaining the site diary and contributing to project delivery
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering
- 2+ years’ experience with a main contractor (commercial experience advantageous)
- Strong setting‑out and levels experience
- Solid understanding of Irish building regulations and design documentation
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and to tight deadlines
- Valid SafePass and Manual Handling certification
