Litigation Legal Executive

We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Litigation Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our energetic legal practice. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional looking to tackle challenging work in a supportive environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Drafting affidavits, declarations of service, and court documents.
  • Arranging for the swearing and stamping of court documents.
  • Filing court documents with relevant court offices and tracking court lists for changes.
  • Supporting the Debt Recovery team in High Court, Circuit Court, and District Court matters.
  • Drafting letters of demand and proceedings, assisting with the preparation of matters for trial.
  • Preparing reports and updates for clients, creating and updating booklets and briefs.
  • Managing communications with court offices, counsel, agents, and clients, including arranging calls and meetings.
  • General administrative tasks such as scanning post, assigning to the Case Management system, typing dictations, filing, generating and issuing statements/invoices, managing diaries, and opening/closing files.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in computer usage with a focus on legal software and tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail, flexible and willing to learn new skills.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Experience in typing and a good aptitude for numbers.
  • Professional and presentable, especially when covering front of house duties.
