About the Team
The Construction & Procurement team specialises in advising on construction disputes, engineering contracts, procurement law and related commercial matters. We act for main contractors, sub‑contractors, public bodies and private sector clients across the full lifecycle of projects.
You’ll also play a key role in our public sector procurement offering – assisting public bodies with compliant procurement processes, supporting suppliers in tendering, and acting in procurement challenges and defences.
What You’ll Be Doing
As Senior Associate, you will:
- Manage a diverse caseload of construction and procurement matters
- Engage with clients by phone, virtual meetings and in-person consultations
- Draft contracts, correspondence, tender documentation and legal submissions
- Provide strategic advice across contentious and non‑contentious issues
- Deliver seminars and training to clients and stakeholders
- Lead and support junior team members
- Actively contribute to networking, client development and profile‑building initiatives
What You Need
- Strong knowledge of construction law, engineering contracts and/or public procurement
- A solid academic background in law, construction or a related field
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues
- Excellent communication, drafting and stakeholder‑management skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and handle complex matters autonomously
- A proactive mindset with an interest in business development and client engagement
