Litigation Solicitor
Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Litigation Solicitor to join their growing legal team. The successful candidate will primarily focus on managing a varied litigation caseload, representing clients across a broad range of contentious matters. Experience in employment law and/or general practice would be advantageous but is not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters from instruction through to resolution.
- Advise and represent clients in civil and commercial disputes.
- Draft pleadings, legal submissions, correspondence, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients.
- Appear before courts and tribunals where required.
- Engage in negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high standard of service.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the practice on multidisciplinary matters.
- Assist with business development and networking activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in litigation.
- Strong knowledge of Irish litigation procedures and court processes.
- Excellent drafting, advocacy, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage files independently while working effectively as part of a team.
- Strong client relationship and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
Desirable Experience
- Exposure to employment law matters.
- Experience in general practice areas such as conveyancing, probate, family law, or commercial matters.
- Experience handling both plaintiff and defendant litigation.
