Clerical Officer (Contract)

Location: Dublin City Centre
Salary: €34,650 per annum
Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (End of August/Beginning of September 2026 – June 2027)
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Working Arrangement: Office-Based

About the Role

We are currently seeking a motivated and organised Clerical Officer to join a busy and professional Education, Research and Learning team based in Dublin City Centre. The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative and supportive team, providing administrative and clerical support across a range of education, research, learning, and training activities. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Education, Research and Learning team.
  • Assist in the coordination and organisation of professional development programmes, training events, and learning opportunities.
  • Respond to queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation.
  • Draft correspondence and prepare reports, meeting materials, and presentations as required.
  • Support event planning, scheduling, and logistics.
  • Conduct research and information gathering when required.
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all administrative processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to team objectives.

Skills & Experience

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a clerical, administrative, or office support role.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
