Junior Solicitor

Ireland | Renewable Energy Sector

Our client, a rapidly growing leader in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a Junior Solicitor to join their expanding legal team in Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious legal professional to move into a commercially focused in-house role and play a key part in supporting high-profile renewable energy and infrastructure projects.

Working closely with the Head of Legal and senior business leaders, you will provide practical legal advice across a broad range of commercial, regulatory and corporate matters while supporting the continued growth of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements and legal documents.
  • Provide pragmatic legal advice to internal stakeholders across the business.
  • Support strategic projects and commercial initiatives alongside senior management.
  • Advise on legal matters relating to renewable energy and infrastructure developments.
  • Assist with employment law issues and wider business projects.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate legal and commercial risks.
  • Manage relationships with external legal advisers and counsel.
  • Support governance, compliance and regulatory activities.
  • Assist with dispute management and claims handling where required.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting the business.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Solicitor in Ireland.
  • 2-5 years' PQE gained in private practice or an in-house legal environment.
  • Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Proven ability to provide commercially focused legal advice.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Commercially astute with a proactive and solutions-driven approach.

Desirable Experience

  • Renewable energy, construction, infrastructure, engineering or project development sectors.
  • Employment law advisory experience.
  • Regulatory, governance or compliance experience.
  • Experience managing external legal advisers and legal risk.
