Inside Sales Executive – Construction Sector

About the Role

We’re seeking a proactive and driven Sales Executive to join our team and play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, supporting field sales activities, and managing a dynamic project portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for architecture, design, and the built environment to grow within a fast-paced and rewarding industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Sales Development – Identify and develop new business opportunities, converting leads into successful sales.
  • Project Qualification – Assess newly priced projects and define scope and programme requirements.
  • CRM Management – Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project activity using our CRM system.
  • Sales Support – Assist field sales teams by providing clients with product literature, samples, and outstanding service.
  • Industry Knowledge – Build a strong understanding of the construction and property sectors.
  • Product Expertise – Gain in-depth knowledge of our product range and project history.
  • Portfolio Management – Organise workload and deliver results efficiently and professionally.
  • Reporting – Submit timely and well-presented reports to the Sales Manager.

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Education:

  • Previous sales experience is advantageous (technical product training will be provided).
  • Background or interest in architecture, design, or construction is a plus.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Dynamic, results-oriented, and customer-focused.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with a diverse client base.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Organised and able to work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (desirable).

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to undertake relevant training as needed.
