Freight Forwarding Coordinator – North Dublin
Reed is delighted to be working a long standing client of ours to recruit for a Freight Forwarding Coordinator. The successful candidate must be able to work on their own initiative as well as integrating themselves with other team members, customers & sub-contractors. You will be part of a dynamic team, supporting customers throughout their shipment journey, solving problems before they arise, and making sure every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
- Experience in Road Freight & Ocean Freight desirable, including import & Export as well as LCL and Groupage services
- Accepting & processing bookings, with continuous monitoring and adjustments where required
- Invoicing, filing & general administrative duties carried out within time frame requirements & with high level of accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving skills including the ability to react to problems in a time efficient manner
- Client focused with excellent communication skills; this role involves the maintenance of close relationships with customers and sub-contractors
- Working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office packages & and ability to learn online software platforms
- An ability to demonstrate proven experience in a similar role an advantage
- Customs experience favourable, but not a requirement.
