Legal PAs (Litigation Department)

Due to continued growth, we are excited to announce the recruitment of two Legal PAs to join our Litigation Department. These newly created roles are perfect for highly organised and proactive professionals who thrive in a busy litigation environment. The successful candidates will provide dedicated support across our three sub-teams, playing a crucial role in the efficient operation of the department.
Day-to-day of the role:
Departmental & Administrative Support
- Provide daily administrative support across three litigation sub-teams, working closely with multiple solicitors and fee earners.
- Manage incoming and outgoing post for the department, including regular, certified, and registered post.
- Coordinate calendars for meetings, court dates, and key deadlines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date files in line with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.
Billing & Invoicing
- Assist fee earners with billing and invoicing processes across the sub-teams.
- Upload documentation to client billing systems and assist with billing queries and follow-ups.
- Generate billing, KPI, and management reports as required.
Document & Case Management
- Prepare, format, and compile legal documents and court booklets for litigation matters.
- Manage electronic and physical file systems, ensuring accuracy, version control, and compliance.
- Update our case management system (Legal Evolve) to support the smooth progression of cases.
- Assist with setting up new clients and completing anti-money laundering requirements.
Reporting & Systems
- Produce reports to support case tracking and departmental performance.
- Ensure consistent use of internal systems and adherence to firm policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a legal support or legal secretarial role within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to support multiple teams simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- An excellent work ethic with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Proficiency in legal case management and document management systems.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
