Technical Integration Lead

A global organisation is seeking an experienced Technical Integration Lead to join a high-performing team responsible for developing and enhancing enterprise integration capabilities across a complex technology landscape.

This is a senior, hands-on role focused on the design, development and delivery of API and webhook integrations, enabling real-time data exchange between business-critical platforms. You will work closely with engineering teams, business stakeholders and third-party technology partners to deliver scalable, secure and reliable integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Technical Leadership

  • Lead technical discovery sessions and integration solution design activities.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and development plans.
  • Assess system dependencies, data flows and integration feasibility.
  • Provide recommendations on architecture, scalability, security and performance.

API & Integration Development

  • Design, build and implement API and webhook integrations across enterprise platforms.
  • Develop data transformation, validation and business logic components.
  • Implement authentication, monitoring, logging and error-handling processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.

Testing & Delivery

  • Develop and execute integration testing plans.
  • Support proof-of-concept initiatives and production deployments.
  • Validate data quality, system performance and integration reliability.
  • Produce technical documentation and operational support materials.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with business and technical teams to deliver effective integration solutions.
  • Work closely with software engineers, architects, security teams and external vendors.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support knowledge transfer and ongoing operational readiness.

What You'll Need

Essential Experience

  • Strong experience designing and building enterprise API and webhook integrations.
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, event-driven architectures and authentication protocols.
  • Experience with backend software development using modern programming languages.
  • Proven ability to develop secure, scalable and resilient integration solutions.
  • Experience with data validation, transformation, monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Experience integrating third-party SaaS platforms with enterprise systems.
  • Ability to work effectively across engineering, security and business functions.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working with CRM platforms and enterprise application integrations.
  • Exposure to integration technologies such as MuleSoft or similar middleware platforms.
  • Experience within marketing technology, lead management or customer data environments.
  • Knowledge of real-time data processing and identity validation solutions.
