A leading equipment and plant solutions business is looking to recruit a skilled Mechanical Technician to join its growing engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys working with a variety of construction and plant equipment in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standards through servicing, inspections, maintenance and repair activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults
- Conducting planned maintenance and pre-hire inspections
- Servicing a diverse range of plant and equipment
- Ensuring equipment is safe, compliant and ready for customer use
- Maintaining high standards of workshop organisation and housekeeping
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service
About You
We're interested in speaking with candidates who have:
- Experience within plant hire, construction equipment, powered access, agricultural machinery, commercial vehicles or a related mechanical environment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A relevant engineering qualification (advantageous)
