Machinery Despatch Operative - West Dublin
We are delighted to be working with a fantastic business based in West Dublin to assist them to recruit for a Machinery Despatch Operative to join their busy and friendly team.
This is a great opportunity to work in a busy and dynamic machinery despatch department. The ideal candidate will have forklift and heavy machinery handling experience and thrive in an environment where no two days are the same. The role is yard based.
Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Duties in the position:
- General yard management and stock control of a wide range of agri. Machinery and accessories
- Unloading machines that arrive from suppliers
- Booking in stock of machines and accessories storing in relevant areas of yard
- Loading and unloading of couriers and customers
- Handling problems effectively and efficiently and be willing to take ownership of these issues as they occur
- Liaising with the Warehouse, Couriers and Suppliers
Skills required:
- Competent forklift driver with relevant forklift licence
- Gantry crane experience a bonus
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships and to work well in a team environment
- Good attention to detail and confident with accurate data entry
