Legal Secretary

Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to support their busy and friendly Conveyancing Team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in managing high-volume workloads and possesses strong administrative skills.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage a high-volume, fast-moving workload within the Conveyancing team.
- Assist with the administration functions, including taking instructions and liaising with clients.
- Prepare legal documents, closings, and assist with Stamp Duty and Registrations.
- Draft correspondence and legal documents.
- Handle incoming telephone calls from solicitors and clients efficiently.
- Ensure the safe and efficient handling of confidential data.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience working in a law firm, with previous experience in Conveyancing highly advantageous.
- Calm, professional, and approachable demeanor.
- Excellent administrative skills, demonstrating an eye for detail and an ability to organise, manage, and prioritise work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong desire to learn.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and experience with case management systems (Keyhouse is an advantage).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
