Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary/Executive

Our client is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary/Executive to join their busy property team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in residential property transactions and a proven ability to handle a high-volume, fast-moving workload.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Conveyancing Tasks: Handle all aspects of residential property transactions from initiation to completion.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and file-management standards are consistently met.
  • Document Handling: Assist with Stamp Duty, Land Registry filings, and billing processes.
  • Client Interaction: Liaise effectively with clients, lenders, and other solicitors to ensure smooth transaction processes.
  • Administrative Excellence: Demonstrate exceptional administrative skills with an eye for detail, and an ability to organise, manage, and prioritise work efficiently.
  • Communication: Maintain excellent communication channels, both written and oral, with all stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years' conveyancing legal secretary/executive experience.
  • Knowledge: Strong interest and knowledge in handling residential property transactions.
  • Case Management: Experience in CORTBase or similar case management systems is advantageous but not essential.
  • Independence: Ability to work on own initiative and run files independently.
  • Administrative Skills: Excellent administrative capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral.
