Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week) Monday to Friday 
Location: Dublin City Centre 

Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Clerical Officer to join a busy and collaborative Legal and Industrial Relations team. This role will suit a highly organised and detail-oriented individual who is eager to contribute to a professional environment delivering high-quality administrative and member support services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support including document preparation, record keeping, minute taking, and presentation development
  • Coordinate meetings (internal and external), manage calendars, and assist with event organisation
  • Engage with members via phone, email, and correspondence in a professional and courteous manner
  • Draft, edit, and proofread a wide range of documents including correspondence, reports, and submissions
  • Maintain and update case databases with a strong focus on tracking deadlines and compliance
  • Liaise with external stakeholders such as legal representatives and public bodies
  • Support reception duties as required
  • Carry out general administrative and clerical tasks as assigned

Key Requirements

  • A third-level qualification and/or relevant administrative experience - coming from a professional service background 
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a professional and customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • High level of accuracy, reliability, and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, OneDrive, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Flexible and adaptable with a proactive mindset
