Legal Assistant

Main Responsibilities:
- Being a point of contact on behalf of the legal team Internally and externally
- Assist with routine legal queries
- Assist with research on cases
- Undertake ad hoc projects as requested
- Upkeep of the firm’s standard legal documentation and templates
- Liaising with various stakeholders regarding legal matters
- Photocopying, scanning
- Brief Building
Skills and Attributes:
- Attention to detail is essential to this role
- Self-motivated and works off own initiative
- Strong communication (both verbal and written)
- Problem Solver
- IT literate and willing to adopt new platforms. Prior knowledge of Microsoft Office and Practice Evolve will be beneficial
- Ability to multi-task, to manage time effectively and to prioritise assignments in a fast-paced every changing environment
- Knowledge of technology and IT-relevant legal problems and recent developments
- Experience building relationships and communicating with Clients and Experts when required
- Comfortable taking instruction and working within the parameters of a team
- Legal experience is an advantage for this role
