Legal Assistant

Main Responsibilities:

  • Being a point of contact on behalf of the legal team Internally and externally
  • Assist with routine legal queries
  • Assist with research on cases
  • Undertake ad hoc projects as requested
  • Upkeep of the firm’s standard legal documentation and templates
  • Liaising with various stakeholders regarding legal matters
  • Photocopying, scanning
  • Brief Building

 

Skills and Attributes:

  • Attention to detail is essential to this role
  • Self-motivated and works off own initiative
  • Strong communication (both verbal and written)
  • Problem Solver
  • IT literate and willing to adopt new platforms. Prior knowledge of Microsoft Office and Practice Evolve will be beneficial
  • Ability to multi-task, to manage time effectively and to prioritise assignments in a fast-paced  every changing environment
  • Knowledge of technology and IT-relevant legal problems and recent developments
  • Experience building relationships and communicating with Clients and Experts  when required
  • Comfortable taking instruction and working within the parameters of a team
  • Legal experience is an advantage for this role
