Senior Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Senior Engineer to join our team on civil infrastructure projects in North East Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated construction professionals to play a key role in the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Assist with supervision of site teams, including foremen, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring efficient allocation of labour, plant and materials.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) requirements and company procedures.
- Liaise effectively with clients, designers, stakeholders, and the wider project team to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Review and coordinate technical documentation, drawings, and construction methodologies to support efficient project execution.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining productivity, programme targets, and quality standards.
- Contribute to project planning, progress reporting, and overall project delivery.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 years’ post-graduate experience.
- Proven experience delivering civil engineering projects, with particular interest in roads, rail, bridges etc.
- Ability to mentor junior team members.
- Understanding of commercial aspects of projects.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
