Our client is currently seeking a skilled Legal Bookkeeper/Administrator to join their team. This role is ideal for candidates who are experienced in legal bookkeeping and are looking for a position where they can work independently while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage and maintain the firm's financial records in compliance with legal standards.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of transactions.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for review.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial audits.
- Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of all financial data.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team as needed.
- Work independently on daily tasks and projects, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in legal bookkeeping.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
