Our client is currently seeking a skilled Legal Bookkeeper/Administrator to join their team. This role is ideal for candidates who are experienced in legal bookkeeping and are looking for a position where they can work independently while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage and maintain the firm's financial records in compliance with legal standards.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of transactions.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports for review.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial audits.
  • Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of all financial data.
  • Provide administrative support to the legal team as needed.
  • Work independently on daily tasks and projects, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in legal bookkeeping.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
