We are seeking a highly organised and professional Administrative Assistant to support our team in a busy boutique employment law firm. This key support role is suited to someone who is reliable, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a confidential, client-facing environment. The role will be office-based with potential for hybrid working after an initial training and induction period.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the solicitors and the wider team.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist with client onboarding, file opening, and maintaining accurate client records on our practice management system, Practice Evolve.
  • Prepare, collate, format, and review briefs using Practice Evolve.
  • Provide PA support to the Principal.
  • Schedule meetings, manage diaries, and assist with the coordination of appointments and deadlines.
  • Support billing, invoicing, and general accounts administration, as required.
  • Assist with general office management tasks, including ordering supplies and liaising with external service providers.
  • Ensure confidentiality and discretion in all client and firm matters.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work calmly under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Teams, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • A professional, courteous, and client-focused manner.
  • Discretion, reliability, and a strong understanding of confidentiality.
  • Experience with legal case management or document management systems would be an advantage.
