Overview
We are seeking an experienced High-End Residential Carpenter to join a growing construction team delivering premium residential projects throughout South Dublin. The successful candidate will have a strong background in high end residential construction, exceptional attention to detail, and a proven track record working on high-specification homes, bespoke fit-outs, and renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- First and second fix carpentry on luxury residential projects.
- Installation of bespoke joinery, kitchens, wardrobes, panelling, and fitted furniture.
- Roofing, flooring, skirting, architraves, staircases, and door installation.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensuring all works are completed to a high-end finish.
- Working closely with site managers, architects, designers, and other trades.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
- Adhering to all Health & Safety regulations on site.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Carpenter with a recognised Irish trade qualification (Advanced Certificate Craft - Carpentry & Joinery or equivalent Irish-recognised qualification).
- Minimum 5 years' post-qualification carpentry experience in Ireland.
- Demonstrated experience working on high-end residential projects, luxury homes, extensions, renovations, and bespoke fit-outs.
- Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and construction methods.
- Excellent attention to detail and finish quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Own tools preferred.
Mandatory Criteria
Applicants must:
- Hold a recognised Irish Carpentry & Joinery qualification or SOLAS-recognised equivalent.
- Have substantial experience working on construction sites in Ireland.
- Possess full legal entitlement to work in Ireland without restriction.
- Be able to provide references from previous Irish employers.
Desirable
- Experience working on architect-designed residential projects.
- Safe Pass Card (valid).
- Manual Handling Certification (valid).
- MEWP, Working at Heights, or other relevant site certifications.
- Experience with bespoke joinery installation.
