Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to oversee the day-to-day financial operations within our fast-paced legal environment. This role is ideal for a professional who excels in maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality and can operate independently.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage client and office accounts in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Process invoices, payments, receipts, and perform bank reconciliations.
- Liaise with solicitors and support staff regarding financial matters and queries.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting.
- Support compliance with accounting, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all financial records.
- Assist with general office administration and operational support as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' bookkeeping experience, ideally within a legal practice or professional services environment.
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, and General Ledger Management.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Previous office management or administrative management experience is a distinct advantage.
