Executive Officer – PART TIME (2 DAYS/WEEK)
Location: Dublin (Hybrid)

An established, member-focused national organisation is seeking to appoint an Executive Officer to join its Communications team.

This organisation represents a large professional membership base across Ireland and plays a key role in delivering high-quality information, publications, and supports to its members.

The Role
The successful candidate will support a busy communications function responsible for producing a wide range of member-facing materials. This includes magazines, journals, reports, conference content, and other publications across both print and digital channels.

You will work as part of a collaborative team delivering high-quality communications that are timely, engaging, and accessible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the production of publications and communications materials
  • Contribute to the development of engaging, user-friendly written content
  • Assist in the design and layout of materials across multiple formats
  • Coordinate multiple projects and ensure deadlines are met
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver key communications initiatives

  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information
  • A proactive, “can-do” attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Creative mindset with an interest in design and visual presentation
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Technical Skills

  • Strong IT proficiency
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is essential
  • Experience with digital publishing platforms is advantageous
