Solicitor - Litigation

Our client, a dynamic and growing practice based in Dublin 2, specialises in defence litigation for insurers and self-insured organisations. They are currently seeking a Solicitor with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience in litigation to join their expanding team. Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage a mixed litigation caseload.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, advices, and correspondence.
  • Attend court, settlement meetings, and consultations.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda.
  • Liaise with clients, counsel, experts, and third parties.
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines, regulatory requirements, and file workflows.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism and client care.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in litigation, with exposure to Circuit Court and/or High Court being highly desirable.
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines in a busy practice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to take initiative.
  • Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive matters.
