Litigation Legal Executive

We are seeking a skilled Litigation Legal Executive to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for managing a high volume of legal tasks efficiently while maintaining excellent relationships with clients and third parties. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a Litigation Department and possess strong communication skills.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Handle incoming correspondence and calls from agents, solicitors, and defendants.
  • Draft legal documents such as letters, affidavits of service, statutory declarations, and bills of costs.
  • Take instructions from clients and provide these to counsel regarding ongoing cases.
  • Instruct summons servers and tracing agents as necessary.
  • Prepare briefs and court documentation for Circuit Court and High Court proceedings and motions.
  • Liaise with clients about court outcomes and subsequent steps.
  • Serve proceedings and liaise with Court Services.
  • Manage the enforcement of Orders for Possession, including coordination with relevant Sheriff offices.
  • Maintain a high-volume, fast-moving workload.
  • Uphold excellent relationships with all third parties involved.
  • Provide assistance to the Operational Team and handle ad hoc duties as they arise.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Executive in a Litigation Department.
  • Proactive thinker and problem solver.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong phone manner and attention to detail.
