Energy Services & Asset Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Energy Services & Asset Manager to lead and develop a Solar Operations & Maintenance (O&M), Heating Services, and renewable energy asset portfolio. This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to drive operational excellence, maximise asset performance, manage key client relationships, and support continued business growth across Ireland and the UK.
The successful candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with commercial acumen, leading multidisciplinary teams while ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and support Solar O&M and Heating Services teams.
- Develop and maintain effective operational structures, reporting processes, and accountability frameworks.
- Support recruitment, training, and professional development initiatives.
Service Delivery
- Oversee solar PV O&M activities, troubleshooting, and heating installation and maintenance services.
- Ensure high standards of service quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement across all operational functions.
- Asset Performance Management
- Monitor and analyse performance across renewable energy assets.
- Identify underperformance issues and implement optimisation strategies.
- Produce clear and insightful performance reports for stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records and oversight of company-owned assets.
- Commercial & Client Management
- Act as the key point of contact for important client accounts.
- Lead pricing discussions, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
- Identify opportunities to grow service revenues and expand customer relationships.
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing processes.
- Business Growth
- Support business expansion initiatives across Ireland and the UK.
- Identify new market opportunities and service offerings.
- Develop and strengthen strategic supplier and subcontractor partnerships.
Essential Experience
- Proven operations management experience within renewable energy, utilities, building services, engineering, or construction sectors.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, asset management, and service delivery operations.
- Experience managing commercial contracts, client relationships, and service proposals.
- Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Experience implementing operational processes, reporting frameworks, and performance improvements.
Qualifications
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Building Services, Business Management, or a related field.
- Additional qualifications in Project Management, Operations Management, or Renewable Energy would be advantageous.
