Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper - Dublin

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper to oversee the day-to-day financial operations within our fast paced legal environment. This role is ideal for a professional who excels in maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality and can operate independently.
Duties in the role:
- Manage client and office accounts in compliance with relevant regulations
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records
- Process invoices, payments, receipts, and perform bank reconciliations
- Liaise with solicitors and support staff regarding financial matters and queries
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting
- Support compliance with accounting, taxation, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all financial records
- Assist with general office administration and operational support as required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, and General Ledger Management
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Previous office management or administrative management experience is a distinct advantage
