Models/Demonstrators Required for Medical Training Event

Our client based in Dundalk is currently seeking 8 Models/Demonstrators to participate in a professional medical training event attended by healthcare professionals specialising in anaesthesia.
This is a unique opportunity to assist with hands-on ultrasound training demonstrations in a controlled and professional educational environment.
The Role
As a Model/Demonstrator, you will support medical professionals during practical ultrasound training sessions. Participants will use ultrasound equipment to identify anatomical structures and practise techniques used in regional anaesthesia procedures.
You will be required to attend the event and act as a model while healthcare professionals perform non-invasive ultrasound scanning.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate as a model during ultrasound training sessions.
- Assist medical professionals by allowing ultrasound scanning of designated body areas.
- Remain professional and cooperative throughout the event.
- Engage with event organisers and attendees in a courteous manner.
Please note that groups of delegates will rotate between stations throughout the day, meaning models will undergo multiple ultrasound scans during the sessions.
Areas to be Scanned
The following areas may be scanned using ultrasound equipment:
- Lower neck
- Armpit
- Back
- Centre of abdomen
- Groin area
- Inner thigh
- Back of leg
Ultrasound gel will be applied during scanning, and some skin exposure will be required. Male candidates may be preferred for back scanning as access to the upper back is required.
Essential Requirements
- Must be comfortable undergoing ultrasound scans in the areas listed above.
- Comfortable with appropriate skin exposure required for the procedure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
