Test Analyst, Full-time 12 month FTC- Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo- 27-30k DOE
We are recruiting a Test Analyst on behalf of our client to join a busy and vibrant team. This role will involve manual software testing for internal and 3rd party systems.
This will be a 12 month FTC with a salary between 27,000-30,000 depending on experience. This role is hybrid, with 2 days a week in the Tubbercurry office and 3 days from home.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that software developed meets the criteria set out in the requirements specifications and is fit for purpose, meeting an accepted performance and usability level
- Participate in the full testing lifecycle of projects and work to company testing standards
- Execute test scripts according to test plan and report ant deviations/defects
- Analyse requirements and specifications for testability
- Write, set up and prepare test conditions/data
- Test non-functional characteristics
- Bring forward ideas to help the team be more efficient and improve testing processes
- Work closely with the team on issues
Essential criteria:
- Experience working in a software testing role or a recent relevant IT qualification
- Knowledge of using API's to test third party integration
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to analyse and define test coverage
- Ability to translate requirements into test cases
- Ability to work to strict timescales
- Committed team player
