Our client, a museum in Dublin 8, are seeking a temporary part time museum shop assistant to join their team at the start of October.
- Shifts are Tuesday 10 -5.30, Thursday 10 – 5.30, Saturday 9.45 – 5.15. The mid-week days can be interchanged, though Saturday is firm. Cover is for 4-6 weeks
- This role would be great for a student or someone interested in art/museums
Job requirements:
- Provide excellent customer service and visitor experience
- Process sales in the shop including upselling, giving receipts, creating invoices etc
- Keep the store clean and tidy
- Cash and card transactions
- Create social media content as and when required
- Selling at events both on and off site
Personal requirements:
- Previous retail experience
- Interest in art/museums
- Ability to use initiative
- Strong customer service skills
- IT Skills
