We are recruiting for an Events Administrator on a temporary basis to start ASAP. The role is for a public body based in Dublin 8 and will be for 3 months.
€15.00 per hour
Office based, Monday – Friday
The Events Administrator will ensure details are in place in advance of an event to run smoothly and ultimately enhances the client experience engaging in the events. In collaboration with colleagues, external clients and stakeholders you must achieve the goals of the organisation and overseeing a portfolio of State, Cultural, and Commercial events.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Handle client inquiries and provide high-level and prompt customer service to ensure client satisfaction (both internal and external).
- Manage bookings and scheduling for the event spaces.
- Prepare and present proposals and contracts and invoice requests.
- Work closely with clients, external event companies and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth event delivery from concept to execution.
- Understand the event’s objectives and assist with designing it accordingly.
- Maintain strong relationships with all external partners and vendors.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including state officials, staff, and external partners, to support events.
- Ensure that all internal stakeholders are informed about event developments and that their input is incorporated into the planning process.
Skills & Attributes required
- Knowledge of Tripleseat booking system would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, ideally with event experience would be highly desirable, as would demonstratable attention to detail.
