We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join our clients Team. This is a full-time permanent role that will be predominantly based in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical system designs (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection etc.) based on the project requirements, ensuring compliance with local safety regulations.
• Involvement in all aspects of the preconstruction stage to include health and safety, technical submissions, construction drawing production, prefabrication, building control submissions and the management of the projects commissioning phase.
• Ensure that mechanical installations are completed to the required quality standards, conduct site inspections, review work progress, and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the design review, validation and management of the design development.
• Working closely with all project teams to ensure the schedule is being followed and excellent service delivery.
• Manage the procurement process for each mechanical package.
• Manage the complete interface for our contractors in relation to their specialist packages.

Skills & Education Required

• At least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
• Mechanical Engineering Qualification.
• Demonstrated capability in construction delivery.
• IT proficient, including CAD & MS Office.
• Exceptional time management skills, for both prioritising workload and meeting strict deadlines.
• QHSE knowledge.
