We are looking to hire Executive Assistants to join our EA Team in the Corporate M&A Practice Group. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant looking for a new challenge. The Executive Assistant plays a vital role in the smooth and effective management of the day-to-day operations in the Practice Group, professionally representing Partners both internally and externally.
Please note that we operate extended working hours past 5.30pm and you will be required to work on a shift rota.
Supporting Partners and Associates as follows:
Manage email/diary and meeting coordination.
Anticipate needs of Partners in relation to resources and queries.
Client billing and WIP and Accounts Receivable report management.
Produce brand compliant proposals, presentations and report documentation.
Manage telephone calls and emails, using initiative to identify alternative contacts where required.
Ensure firm’s standards are met/maintained on all correspondence.
Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements & develop detailed itineraries.
Produce, edit and format legal documents and templates.
Maintain and update client database.
Assist with general ad-hoc projects as and when required.
Provide ongoing support for other Executive Assistants in the Practice Group.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
At least three to four years’ experience as a Legal Secretary PA/EA.
Experience with Client Billing/Payments systems.
Excellent IT Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Typing skills of at least 70 words per minute.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
Team player, who can also work on their own initiative.
High attention to detail.
