Full job description
We are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join our busy and friendly Conveyancing Team, based in Dublin 2.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Managing a high-volume, fast-moving workload
- Assisting the Conveyancing team with administration function
- Taking instructions from clients
- Liaising with clients
- Assisting with preparation of contracts for sale
- Preparation for closings
- Drafting letters
- Assisting with Stamp duty and Registrations
- Dealing with incoming telephone calls from solicitors and clients
- Ensuring safe and efficient handling of confidential data
Key Skills & Experience:
- The ideal candidate should have one to two years of experience working in a law firm. Previous experience in Conveyancing is a significant advantage.
- Calm, professional and approachable manner
- Excellent administration skills which demonstrate an eye for detail and an ability to organise, manage and prioritise work within a team
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a strong team player with a desire to learn
- Strong IT Skills including competency in Word, Excel, Outlook, experience of case management systems (Keyhouse is an advantage) and excellent numeracy skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
