Full job description

We are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join our busy and friendly Conveyancing Team, based in Dublin 2.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing a high-volume, fast-moving workload
  • Assisting the Conveyancing team with administration function
  • Taking instructions from clients
  • Liaising with clients
  • Assisting with preparation of contracts for sale
  • Preparation for closings
  • Drafting letters
  • Assisting with Stamp duty and Registrations
  • Dealing with incoming telephone calls from solicitors and clients
  • Ensuring safe and efficient handling of confidential data

Key Skills & Experience:

  • The ideal candidate should have one to two years of experience working in a law firm. Previous experience in Conveyancing is a significant advantage.
  • Calm, professional and approachable manner
  • Excellent administration skills which demonstrate an eye for detail and an ability to organise, manage and prioritise work within a team
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a strong team player with a desire to learn
  • Strong IT Skills including competency in Word, Excel, Outlook, experience of case management systems (Keyhouse is an advantage) and excellent numeracy skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
