Commercial Manager - Cork

Reed has partnered with our Client, based in Cork, to recruit for a Commercial Manager – They provide security solutions to a wide variety of industries and state bodies.

The role involves managing an existing client base of commercial customers and the ability to grow this in line with the companies’ policies and growth targets.  The successful candidate should ideally have experience of dealing with high end clients in the service sector.

The Role and Responsibilities:

  • Direct sales responsibilities for a number of high-profile corporate clients.
  • Develop strategic relationships and effective management of existing and potential channel partners.
  • To execute business objectives taking direct control of key relationships and managing the overall sales function.  
  • Hands on approach and ability to lead by example and support wherever needed.
  • Responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities through the channel.

Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 5 years previous experience managing clients in a service sector.
  • Knowledge of the security industry an advantage but not essential.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop robust relationships through effective negotiation and influencing.
  • An understanding of the market in the Munster region.
