Area Sales Merchandiser - Dublin

My client specialises within innovative non-food retail solutions, supplying to the retail industry across Ireland and the UK. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking an Area Merchandiser to join their team. This will be field based and a van will be provided.

With a salary of €30,000 - €34,000 + uncapped per annum - Plus company vehicle and mobile phone.

Job Role:

You will be responsible for delivering and merchandising orders in retail stores and build strong relationships with customers in your area.

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum of 1-2 years B2B Sales experience.
• Possess recent FMCG retail or wholesale experience.
• Ability to demonstrate best practice sales skills.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work on your own initiative.
• Full driving licence.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver and merchandise orders in retail stores.
• Build strong relationships with customers in your area.
• Working with the Area Manager to maximise sales.
• Merchandising deliveries that collect in their local depot.
• Relief sales cover as required.
