Applications are invited for a temporary (Fixed Term Contract until mid January, but could extend beyond that for a further year).

The Clerical Officer: ICT will work as part of the ICT team under the management of the Finance and Operations Assistant General Secretary and the overall management of the General Secretary.
In that context, they will be allocated specific duties and will be required to exercise sound judgement, skill, and diligent application in the performance of their role and demonstrate flexibility when required.
The successful candidate will provide support in the following areas:
- Providing IT support to employees and remote users in a professional and friendly manner
- Answering the ICT Helpdesk Support emails, phone calls, and tickets
- Support MSP engineers on projects
- Fully document all troubleshooting steps and create knowledge base articles of resolutions
- Remotely troubleshoot and quickly diagnose issues
- Actively seeking opportunities to improve IT systems and IT operations
- Maintaining strong relationships and delivering excellent customer service
- Assisting with security of data, network access and backup systems including policies, testing, and retrieving of files
- Administering the mobile phone account to include dealing with day-to-day requests and queries from internal and external committee members, liaising with Vodafone, managing MDM system
- Providing training on systems to Head Office staff, external committees and remote users
- Providing administrative support for the management of third-party relationships and ICT projects
- Ad-hoc research relating to equipment, systems etc. for new ICT projects
- Providing on-site support as required in Northern Office
- Continuous personal ICT training and development
- Other duties, responsibilities, or tasks which, from time to time, may be assigned by the General Secretary.
This is a fixed term contract and the salary scale for the position is based on ten incremental points, from
€33,812 – 48.851.
