Receptionist/Clerical Officer

Please note this role is 5 days/week on site in Dublin City centre.

Role Overview:

The Receptionist / Clerical Officer will be a key front-facing member of the team, responsible for managing reception duties and supporting internal operations. The role requires professionalism, sound judgment, and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reception & Communication:

    • Operate the telephone switchboard: answer, transfer calls, take messages, and provide information.
    • Greet members, committee members, and visitors professionally, ensuring compliance with the Visitor Policy.
  • Query Management:

    • Log queries received via phone, email, in-person, or portal.
    • Ensure queries are accurately recorded and forwarded to the appropriate department.
  • Mail & Deliveries:

    • Handle incoming and outgoing post and in-house deliveries.
    • Check and distribute incoming correspondence throughout the day.
  • Logistics Support:

    • Book couriers and taxis as needed.
  • Membership Assistance:

    • Support the Membership team with calls, emails, and packing tasks as required.
