Investment Analyst – Private Equity Fund

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated Investment Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial analysis, prior experience in venture capital or private equity, and a genuine passion for food technology and innovation. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior investment professionals and portfolio companies, contributing to all aspects of the investment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
- Support deal execution, including market research, competitive analysis, and preparation of investment memos.
- Monitor and analyze portfolio company performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Stay abreast of trends and developments in the food technology sector, identifying emerging opportunities and risks.
- Assist in the preparation of investor reports, presentations, and fundraising materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or management consulting.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial databases.
- A knowledge of food science would be an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
