Legal Secretary / Executive

Dublin 4 Firm

Key responsibilities:

• Normal reception duties, including answering all incoming calls;
• Liaising between clients and solicitors;
• Responsibility for incoming and outgoing post;
• File management
• Preparing documents and forms for PRAI and Registry of Deeds
• Stamping and registering Deeds, Leases, etc in a timely fashion and monitoring same.
• Scheduling title deeds, preparing Contracts, CORT Requisitions on Title, Declarations, Deeds etc.
• Liaising with Clients/Banks/Councils/Government departments (NPPR etc.)/Vendor/Purchaser Solicitors on a daily basis
• Preparing Invoices and Closing Statements
• Updating and amending Case Management system
• Normal legal office administrative duties, e.g opening files, closing files, scanning, photocopying, filing, etc
• Preparing of court documents, briefs etc.
• Creating, amending and formatting legal documents and templates with a high degree of accuracy
• Liaising with counsel
• Ad hoc tasks as required

Ideal Candidate:
· A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Legal Executive
· Strong knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
· Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality, accurate work in a timely manner
· A high level of integrity, discretion and trust with confidential information
· Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
· Experience with eXpd8 case management software and diary management;
· Strong written and oral communication skills;
· Positive attitude;
· Excellent organisational skills.
