Front of House Receptionist

Job Description

Our client based in Ballymount, Dublin 24 wishes to recruit an experienced Front of House Receptionist to manage our front of house reception area. If you would like to join the busy team in a leading Irish business, we would like to hear from you.      

Salary - €27,000 – €29,500

Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm

Office based

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Answer, screen and forward phone calls
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
  • Administration of meeting room bookings
  • Prepare correspondence and documents
  • Perform duties such as scanning, filing, transcribing and faxing
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing tasks as required

Requirements

  • Proven work experience (2-3 years minimum) as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
  • Ability to handle high volume calls on a switchboard
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. scanners, fax machines and printers)
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise; well able to handle pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Customer service orientation
  • Attention to detail
