Profile
Our client is looking to recruit a Legal Secretary to join their team. The office is a busy general practice operating in Dublin 2. They offer a pleasant working environment with no office politics. Detailed training will be provided.
The right candidate will be providing support and assistance to the solicitors in the practice in all areas of general practice including probate, conveyancing, litigation to include all general secretarial duties.
Previous experience in residential conveyancing would be highly valued but is not strictly necessary.
This is an onsite position and will not involve remote working.

- The ability to prioritise and organise workload with minimum supervision;
- A high level of motivation and an ability to act on one’s own initiative;
- Must work well under pressure and attention to detail is very important;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, i.e. Word, Excel, Access and Outlook;
- Audio transcription work;
- Must be comfortable dealing with others by telephone, email, and letter.
- Experience with Keyhouse and SAM Accounting an asset.
- Ability to multi task and prioritise.
Responsibilities will involve:
- Liaising with clients and third party solicitors;
- General file management, typing and scheduling;
- Shared administration work and day to day office administrative tasks including accounts entry;
- Handling of files post completion to include dealing with stamp duty returns and registration applications;
- Preparing loan documents; and arranging closings;
- Dealing with phone calls and emails in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
