We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative/Delivery Driver based in Ballymount, Dublin 24. The global company are expanding in Ireland, so this is a new role and is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in warehousing.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement of goods within the warehouse and ensuring timely delivery to designated locations using a company van. The role will involve various tasks such as loading and unloading goods, organising inventory, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse, and safely driving the company van to deliver goods to customers or other locations as required.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods, verify quantities, and inspect for damages.
• Organise and maintain inventory using appropriate storage methods.
• Ensure accurate labelling and documentation of goods.
• Prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures.
• Operate forklifts or other machinery for material handling tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse premises.
• Assist in periodic inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Safely operate company van to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload goods from the van, ensuring proper handling to prevent damages.
• Verify delivery documents and obtain signatures upon delivery.
• Communicate with customers professionally

Skills & Attributes required

• Must have experience working in a warehouse – managing an inventory, goods out
• Must have eligibility to work in Ireland
• Must have a full clean driving licence
• A driven person who takes pride in their work
• Highly organised
• Take responsibility, can manage their own workload
