A leading Medical Supplies company in Meath are seeking a Key Account Manager to join their team.
To purpose of the role is to sell products and services to customers including individuals, businesses and government organisations.
Salary €40,000 + €5,000 bonus

To develop relationships with a portfolio of major clients and expanding the relationships with existing customer by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives. The ideal candidate must have a sales background and be willing to conduct 25 + calls daily.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competitors.
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
- Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
- Cold calling potential customers, establishing customer needs and selling products accordingly
- 25 telephone calls are required daily along with contact with up to and not limited to 10 Lead /Prospects weekly.
- Acknowledge and following up within 24 hours on sales enquiries and sending out information to the customer.
- Following up on leads generated by other departments
- Working to monthly sales and revenue targets as set by Sales Director
- Entering all required data for sales onto the company system – updating NetSuite and inputting information on customers
- Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
- Responding to incoming email, fax and phone enquiries within 24 hours
- Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
- Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy and ultimately the customer being satisfied with Medguard customer service.
- Maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organisation standards
- Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors and relaying to sales director/purchasing
- Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies
